Taufiq Rafat (25 Oct – 2 August ), was a Pakistani author and sonneteer.

His work influenced other Asiatic poets and he is credited with the introduction of character concept of a "Pakistani idiom" in English literature.[1][2]He is additionally known as "Ezra Pound" acquisition Pakistan for his modernist kind that includes a naturalist parade. He did several translations inclusive of the works of Bulleh Kingly, a well known Pakistani metrist, which was published in University University Press.
